Arte in
Salotto
in Capalbio

Saturday, July 19th, 2025, at Tenuta della Sgrilla in Capalbio, a refined dialogue between art, architecture, and landscape came to life in the authentic heart of the Tuscan Maremma.
With its meticulously curated spaces, the centuries-old cypresses lining the road, the swimming pools, and the porticoes immersed in the green landscape of the Tuscan Maremma, Tenuta della Sgrilla – recently restored by architect Emanuela Esposito – was the ideal setting for the site-specific exhibition format that has now become a signature of Arte in Salotto.
Arte in Salotto transformed the splendid estate into an open-air exhibition of contemporary sculpture.
In this place, where the exchange between art and nature is part of everyday life, the sculptures by our artists – Paola Cassola, Marcello Chiarenza, Girolamo Ciulla, Isabelle Cornière, and Filippo Salerni – found their perfect home, inhabiting the outdoor spaces of the estate.

Surrounded by hills, vineyards, and Mediterranean scrubland, Capalbio was the perfect emotional backdrop: what unfolded was a true theatre of beauty, a choreography of art and nature.
