Arte in Salotto is pleased to participate in Open House Milano, the city’s most beloved architecture festival, returning on May 13 and 14, 2023.

The eighth edition offers a weekend to discover hidden corners of the city, unforgettable interiors, and spaces more or less concealed from the public, all opening their doors for a special two-day visit. It’s a journey through time and the cultural layers of Milan, sharing a rich architectural heritage in constant transformation—from the verticality of contemporary design to historic sites steeped in memory. Open House Milano allows visitors to experience a new and surprising side of the city through the lens of architecture.

The theme of this edition is Urban Humanism, highlighting signs of a renewed design sensitivity and virtuous practices emerging from fresh intellectual fertility. This rebirth touches every aspect of our lifestyle, with the city itself reflecting these changes: architecture, design, and urban planning all reveal new ways humans relate to their environment. Private homes, historic buildings, thematic city tours, and many other opportunities allow participants to explore Milan’s remarkable architecture.

For Open House, our art salon at Via Milazzo 6 will host the exhibition “Flying House” by French photographer Laurent Chéhère.
